Paint Day

A rainy day brings an opportunity to think creatively about activities for the boys.  We've done every museum, zoo, park and aquarium in the Los Angeles area and with the tempest outside reaching torrential heights, I decided to get the boys working on some painting.  Hudson didn't last as long as I would have hoped, but for a short bit he was engaged and expressive.  Liem went to town and talked the entire time as he worked.  Next time I'm going to take video of him doing it.  As much as these photos tell an amazing story, the true art of the moment was Liem's narrative and makes me think that child art is much, much more about process than it is about the final product.
